Buying cheap SpeakerCraft AIM CINEMA One AIMABLE IN-WALL CINEMA SPEAKER (EACH) Speakercraft AIM Cinema OneBy ChevyChadThe first thing I noticed when I opened up the box for these speakers was the beauty of these monsters. There are not many in-walls with 5 speakers contained in a single enclosure at this price range. This was actually the primary reason I originally bought these. I then noticed that the build quality was very solid. The backs of these speakers are heavy duty all business construction.Installation is a breeze too. The hardest part is running speaker wire. After that, locate your studs and just cut the hole (well, in this case- rectangle), hook up the wire to the speaker posts, then place the speaker in the cutout and screw down the 10 dog-legs. I would recommend using a manual screw driver so as not to over-tighten them and go through the drywall. Then install the grill and you are ready to enjoy the sound as much as much as the look of them!Once I got past the looks of these, naturally, I wanted to hear them in action. And I have done exactly that! Ive really thrown a lot at these these speakers since I have got them a few months ago, and I am beyond impressed at their performance. I would definitely say go for them if you are on the fence, you will not be disappointed! They are everything I could ask of them and I become more satisfied with my purchase every time I listen to them. They sound as good or better than my previous Yamaha floor standing tower speakers that were replaced by these. They really provide a great full sound with crystal clear highs, enveloping midrange and the bass is very acceptable as a stand alone speaker set without powered subs. I have watched movies with my sub unplugged and they still sound fantastic! But in conjunction with my BIC Acoustech H-100 sub, bass is phenomenal!I love the clean look, and the sound I got with the Speakercraft cinema's is superb! Cost is the only obstacle that you need to overcome for good quality in-wall speakers like this, but it ended up being way worth it to me. I will not hesitate to check out anything in the speakercraft line.
